<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve drivability by suppressing the generation of vibration in stopping a driving source in a vehicle control device. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle control device includes: an engine stop determination part 66 to determine whether or not an engine stop permission condition is established by connecting an engine 11 equipped on a vehicle 10 with a transmission 14 by means of a torque converter 12 and a power transmission clutch 13 and connecting the transmission 14 with a driving wheel 16 by means of a deceleration and differential mechanism 15; an engine control part (automatic stop means) 67 that can automatically stop the engine 11 when the engine stop permission condition is established; and a clutch control part (clutch opening means) 68 that opens the power transmission clutch 13 in consideration of the vibration of the transmission 14 before automatically stopping the engine 11 by the engine control part 67. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
