PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a "horizontal stripe type" fuel cell, which has a support substrate hardly deformed by an external force acting thereon, and in which exfoliation of a fuel electrode embedded in a recess of the support substrate can be suppressed.
SOLUTION: On each of the upper and lower faces (principal planes) of a plate-shaped support substrate having a longitudinal direction in which a fuel gas passage is formed, a plurality of recesses 12 (a region shown by fine dots in a Figure) each having a fuel electrode embedded therein are formed in the longitudinal direction at prescribed intervals. About each recess 12, assuming that the area of a planar shape (a region shown by fine dots in the Figure) of an opening of the recess 12 when it is viewed from a direction perpendicular to the principal plane of the support substrate is S1 and the area of a planar portion (a region shown by slant lines in the Figure) parallel to the principal plane of the support substrate on a bottom wall of the recess 12 is S2, a relation of 70≤S2/S1≤99.6 is satisfied.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
