PURPOSE: A finger print insufflation method is provided to detect latent fingerprints by insufflating cyanoacrylate on the latent fingerprints. CONSTITUTION: A compressed fiber member(115) is formed by compressing a fiber member. A insufflation material(170) is contacted with the compressed fiber member. A compression unit(130) maintains a compressed state by compressing the volume of the fiber member. The insufflation material which is evaporated from the compressed fiber member is contacted with a detection material(200). A contacting step and a detection step are executed in a chamber. The insufflation material is composed of cyanoacrylate. The fiber member is composed of cotton balls, cotton gloves, a cotton mask or acrylic wool.
