<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve dust collecting performance of a cutter. <P>SOLUTION: This cutter 10 includes a surface plate 11 mounted on a workpiece, a cutter body 21 storing a motor to be a driving source therein and including a handle portion 23 receiving holding from an operator, and a circular saw blade 31 mounted in the cutter body 21 and is rotationally driven by being transmitted with rotary driving force from the motor. In the cutter 10, a connection portion 20 between the surface plate 11 and the cutter body 21 is provided on a rear end side of the surface plate 11, a relative rotating operation of the cutter body 21 to the surface plate 11 is performed with the connection portion 20 as a rotation center, and thereby projecting amount of the circular saw blade 31 from a lower surface of the surface plate 11 is adjusted. The cutter 10 further includes a dust collecting cover 41 installed for the surface plate 11, a saw cover 45 installed for the cutter body 21, and a scatter prevention cover 49 installed for the saw cover 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
