<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "navigation system for an electric automobile utilizing power failure information" which can be prevented from being stalled due to non-availability of a charging station where a traveling battery of an electric automobile is charged, because of power failure when utilizing the charging station. <P>SOLUTION: Power failure information containing a power failure area and a power failure time is fetched from a site of a power company or the like and when displaying an icon of a charging station for an electric automobile, icons of charging stations located within the power failure area are displayed differently from other areas by gray-out display or the like. When displaying a list in charging station retrieval, charging stations in the power failure area are displayed differently from the other areas by gray-out display or the like. When traveling on a guide route utilizing a charging station on the way, in the case where power failure occurs in the charging station to be utilized, a charging station which is proximate to that charging station and out of the power failure area is retrieved and a guide route is calculated as a new via-point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
