<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail guide of a passenger conveyor, which can keep slidability in a better state. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of temperature detection parts 11a to 11c for detecting a temperature of a handrail guide body 4 are attached to the handrail guide body 4. Further, a plurality of pairs of temperature adjustment parts 12a to 12c for adjusting the temperature of the handrail guide body 4 are embedded in the handrail guide body 4. Information on temperature characteristics of the coefficient of friction of the handrail guide body 4 for a moving handrail 3 is measured in advance and stored in a temperature control part 13. The temperature control part 13 controls the temperature adjustment parts 12a to 12c in response to a signal from the temperature detection parts 11a to 11c based on the stored information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
