<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a carrier tape with which small parts can be precisely housed into the carrier tape and taken out of the carrier tape. <P>SOLUTION: A taping package 11 has a part housing part 12c. The part housing part 12c has a wide opening 12a and a main housing part 12b continued to the wide opening 12a. The width of the main housing part 12b is approximately the same. The width of the part of the wide opening 12a bordered from the main housing part 12b is approximately the same as the width of the main housing part 12b and is increased as it gets closer to the upper surface of a punch carrier tape 12.
