<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition containing α-cyclodextrin-chlorine dioxide composite, which is safely operable and transportable. <P>SOLUTION: The composition includes α-cyclodextrin-chlorine dioxide composite and an inert substance. Preferably the inert substance is a compound selected from the group consisting of silica, silica gel, an alkaline earth metal salt of silicic acid, an alkaline earth metal salt of sulfuric acid, an alkaline earth metal salt of phosphoric acid, an alkaline earth metal salt of hydrofluoric acid, an alkaline earth metal salt of carbonic acid, oxide of aluminium, oxide of magnesium, oxide of silicon, oligosaccharide or polysaccharide, a vinyl alcohol copolymer and ground natural mineral. The composition can be produced by mixing an α-cyclodextrin aqueous solution and the inert substance, conducting chlorine dioxide to the mixture to precipitate a composition containing an α-cyclodextrin-chlorine dioxide composite and the inert substance and separating the composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
