<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a polyethylenic resin excellent in moldability and durability and excellent in a balance of impact resistance and rigidity, particularly an ethylenic polymer suitable for a hollow plastic molded article, highly efficiently and in a high polymerization activity; and to provide an ethylenic polymer or a blow molded product obtained by the process. <P>SOLUTION: The process for producing an ethylenic polymer includes homopolymerizing ethylene or copolymerizing ethylene and an α-olefin using a catalyst obtained by activating a chromium-carrying inorganic oxide (c) in which an inorganic oxide carrier (a) having a specific surface area of 625 to 1,000 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g and a pore volume of 1.0 to 5.0 cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>/g carries a chromium compound (b), in a non-reductive atmosphere at 250°C to 550°C, wherein the catalyst is used in a form in which no organoaluminum compound is carried on the chromium-carrying inorganic oxide (c) after the activation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
