EXPANSION JOINT AND STEAM TURBINE FACILITY INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion joint having a large deformation amount, and made compact and lightweight.

SOLUTION: An expansion joint 1 installed between a steam turbine exit and a condenser entrance includes: an upstream baffle pipe 11 having a one end fixed to an upstream-side fixed end 11a and the other end as a free end 11b to form a steam channel; a downstream baffle pipe 13 having a one end fixed to a downstream-side fixed end 13a and the other end as a free end 13b, and the free end 13b is made movable relatively on the outside of the free end 11b of the upstream baffle pipe 11; and a flexible cylindrical body 15 which is formed with a nonmetallic material using a resin sheet and can be transformed while hermetically surrounding the outside of the baffle pipes 11, 13.
