<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of evaluating a wear amount even in a wear mark with very small wear loss. <P>SOLUTION: The method for evaluating a wear amount of a material with very small mass loss caused by a wear test, such as a composite material of biodegradable ceramics and titanium comprises: obtaining a volume lost by wear, using a circumference length defining the width center of an annular-shaped wear mark viewed from a normal direction to a wear surface as a radius, and a cross section in a width direction of the wear mark measured with a digital microscope; and evaluating a wear amount of the material based on the wear loss volume. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
