<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared sensor capable of appropriately checking whether a detection zone where no intrusion object is detected is correctly set among a plurality of detection zones set in a detection area. <P>SOLUTION: An infrared sensor 10 comprises: a light collecting member for collecting infrared rays emitted from a plurality of detection zones by a plurality of light collecting elements provided correspondingly to respective detection zones; a photo detector for receiving collected infrared rays; a light shielding member formed by a material for shielding the infrared rays and disposed in a position shielding the infrared rays to be collected by any of the plurality of condensing elements; a storage part 40 for storing an object light collecting element in which the infrared ray is to be shielded by the shielding member; a detection part 20 for detecting a shielded light collecting element in which the infrared ray is shielded by the shielding member; a determination means 82 for determining whether the shielded light collecting element detected by the detection part coincides with the object light collecting element stored in the storage part; and an output means 83 for displaying a determined result on a display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
