PURPOSE: A flash memory management device based on writing data pattern recognition and a method thereof are provided to improve the reliability and durability of a NAND flash memory by storing the least number of zero bits in a page. CONSTITUTION: A data analyzing unit(120) analyzes a bit storage pattern stored in cells of a flash memory. A data matching unit(130) matches an alternative pattern corresponding to the bit storage pattern according to the analysis result. A storage unit(150) stores the alternative pattern corresponding to the bit storage pattern as a table type or a function type for the bit storage pattern. The data matching unit matches the alternative pattern with the bit storage pattern.
