PURPOSE: A process cartridge and an image forming apparatus are provided to accept a waste toner within a cartridge. CONSTITUTION: An image generating unit includes a phase retaining body, a developing unit, and a cleaning unit. A container installing unit(73) is installed in a position where is separated from the image generating unit. A toner container is attachably and detachably installed on the container installing unit. A toner accepting container(72) widens to the image forming unit and the container installing unit. The toner accepting container accepts a toner removed from the phase retaining body. |
