<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate power loss in power transmission by immediately responding to power excess and deficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A control device of a smart meter established in each region having power generation equipment and power storage equipment has a storage unit, a selection unit, and a transmission/reception unit. The storage unit stores an evaluation value related to a power transmission load with other regions connected by a power transmission network and a communication network, in association with income and expenditure of power of other regions for each of other regions. The selection unit selects the other region to be a request destination of power transmission based on the evaluation value and the income and expenditure of power stored by the storage unit, when the income and expenditure of power of the own region is smaller than a predetermined threshold. The transmission/reception unit transmits a request that power should be transmitted from the other region to the own region through the power transmission network, to the other region selected by the selection unit via the communication network. Coordination between transmission from the selection unit and a switch enables the power transmission request and switching control to be executed simultaneously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
