A technical method for joining thin-walled metal pipes comprises a thin-walled metal pipe body (1), a thin-walled piper connector (2), a seal ring (3), a top barrel (4), a protrusion point (11) for wedge pressing at the end of the thin-walled metal pipe body, wherein the thin-walled piper connector (2) is provided with a spigot (21) embossed with both internal and external threads, and there is a conical step (22) at the bottom of the bell and spigot. When joining the same, the top barrel (4) is inserted into the pipe body (1), with the protrusion point (11) pressing on the end of the pipe body (1), the seal ring (3) is sleeved to the front of the protrusion point (11) of the pipe body (1), and then both of them are inserted into the spigot (21) of the piper connector (2), with the seal ring (3) of the pipe body (1) abutting tightly against the conical step (22) of the spigot (21) of the piper connector (2), and the top barrel (4) is screwed tightly by screwing the external thread of the top barrel (4) along the internal thread of the piper connector (2) so as to form a firm and sealed connection. The method reduces significantly the production costs of the piper connectors, is easy and fast to construct, and lowers significantly the labour intensity and construction difficulty. |
