<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, apparatus, and a kit capable of improving accuracy of CGS devices using dynamic outputs of continuous glucose sensors. <P>SOLUTION: The method for improving accuracy of a continuous glucose sensor (CGS) includes: a step of calibrating the CGS at a first time; a step of calibrating the CGS at a second time determined based on at least one of a CGS value and a CGS change ratio that is dynamically monitored; a step of dynamically monitoring the CGS value and the CGS change ratio over time; a step of calculating a primary time derivative of the monitored CGS value; a step of determining whether an absolute value of the primary time derivative of the CGS value is substantially less than 1; and a step of maintaining the calibration of the CGS at the first time when the absolute value of the primary time derivative of the CGS is substantially less than 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
