PURPOSE: A DDoS(Distributed Denial of Service) attack response system and method using the same are provided to increase the reliability of a web server by providing a normal web service to a real user in a DDoS situation. CONSTITUTION: A sensing module(110) senses the occurrence of a DDoS attack for a web server. An incoming packet one-to-one correspondence module(130) transmits a real user authentication web page to an access request client when a DDoS attack is sensed. An authentication unit(140a) authenticates authentication data for the real user authentication web page transmitted from the access request client. The authentication unit executes an authentication procedure. The real user authentication web page requests manual input for a user.
