<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin display panel having touch panel function, and a display device and electronic equipment including the same. <P>SOLUTION: Each sub-pixel has an organic EL element 11 and a pixel circuit 12 for driving the organic EL element 11. The organic EL element 11 is constituted by laminating an anode electrode 35, an organic layer 36, and a cathode electrode connected to the pixel circuit 12. The cathode electrode provides a cathode line CTL shared by a plurality of organic EL elements 11 arranged in a row direction.
