PURPOSE: A water purification apparatus using a pulse electric field is provided to eliminate organic materials from wastewater or sewage and to maintain organic material eliminating effect after the lapse of time. CONSTITUTION: A water purification apparatus using a pulse electric field includes a water bath(10), a pump(30), and an electric field generator(40). The electric field generator is composed of a body(41), a lower body(42), an upper body(43), an electric charging electrode(44), a counter electrode(45), an electricity supplying part(46), and a path(47). An aqueous solution through the path generates vortex by adding a spiral part(50) to the outer circumference of the electric charging electrode or spirally fixing the counter electrode to the inner side of the body.
