<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cache system for preventing the deterioration of a cache hit rate even in the case of performing rewrap processing of generating an electronic book from the source of the electronic book according to the request specifications of a bookstore site. <P>SOLUTION: A download device 13 is configured to manage an electronic book cached in a cache device 11 included in an electronic book selling system 1a, and to, when the electronic book whose download request has been made from terminal equipment 12 is not cached in the cache device 11 corresponding to a bookstore device 10 by which the electronic book has been sold, perform the rewrap processing of the electronic book according to the specifications of the bookstore site. Then, the download device 8 transmits the electronic book after the rewrap processing to the terminal equipment 12 which has made the download request and distributes the electronic book after the rewrap processing to the cache device 11, to make the cache device 11 cache the electronic book. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
