<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil ring rotation regulating structure for not equally separating a locking projection of an oil ring from a recessed part of a piston even if a force is applied in any peripheral direction before being incorporated into a cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: The oil ring rotation regulating structure is provided for inserting and locking the locking projections constituted by bending and rising abutment ends of side rails in the recessed parts 12a and 13a formed on wall surfaces 12 and 13 of an oil ring groove 11 for holding so that the side rails 20 and 30 being an oil seal part having the abutment parts 21 and 31 do not rotate with respect to a piston 10, and the first locking projection 23a is formed at the abutment end 23 positioned in one peripheral direction C2 with respect to an abutment part 21, and a second locking projection 32a is formed at the abutment end positioned in the inverse peripheral direction C1 of one peripheral direction with respect to an abutment part 31.
