<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device and recording method capable of performing additional recording while maintaining the stability of a tracking servo without providing an area in which recording is not performed by correcting a relative angle between a light beam and an optical disk when the preceding recording is performed with high accuracy in the case of additionally recording information on the optical disk in which a servo layer and a recording layer are separately formed. <P>SOLUTION: In this invention, a radial tilt servo is applied with a signal from a recording layer while a tracking servo is applied in a servo layer, and a relative angle between the optical disk and an optical axis during the preceding recording is learned with high accuracy.
