<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub for obtaining a comfortable bathing feeling by soaking even shoulders in warm water when a user takes a bath in a highly water-saving bathtub, and suppressing interference between the buttocks of the user and a plug in bathing. <P>SOLUTION: The bathtub includes: a bottom surface with a drain outlet formed therein, having a pair of long side edges and a pair of short side edges; and a backrest surface formed to be raiseded upward from one short side edge of the bottom surface. The bottom surface has a drain slope to allow a backrest surface side to be lower. The drain outlet is arranged on the backrest surface side in the bottom surface. The backrest surface has a lower surface on the bottom surface side; and an upper surface connected to the upper part of the lower surface.
