PURPOSE: A method for updating a digital map by setting and identifying a location using a GPS(Global Positioning System) is provided to find a location of a road by a movable vehicle, thereby accurately and vertically photographing the road from the air. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle with a GPS transmits location information to an artificial satellite by the GPS(S100). An identifying machine identifies the shape of a road and a location where a support is installed(S200). An aircraft receives the location information from the artificial satellite. The aircraft moves vertically to the vehicle. The aircraft photographs a road image by a camera(S300). A central processing unit updates an existing image by inputting, converting, combining, and drawing the photographed road image(S400).
