<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode capable of further significantly improving charge/discharge cycles of a lithium secondary battery or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode 100 according to the present invention includes a collector 300 and an active material layer 200. The active material layer 200 includes active material particles 210 and a porous polyimide resin 220. The active material layer 200 is formed on the collector 300. A thickness of the active material layer 200 is more than 0 μm and less than 10 μm. An average particle diameter of the active material particles 210 is more than 0 μm and less than 10 μm.
