<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flying object capable of securing a wide field of a view during an operation without complicating the configuration of a cover member. <P>SOLUTION: The flying object includes a cylindrical hull, a head coupled to the front end of the hull and having a shape whose diameter decreases toward the front, a seeker dome arranged inside the head, and a cover member to protect the seeker dome and to be broken away during the operation. At the head, a first inclined surface inclined to the center axis of the hull part is formed and the head is cut away so that the front side of the first inclined surface is not covered. The seeker dome is arranged so as to face forward in the first inclined surface.
