<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which crosstalk is reduced during the display of a stereoscopic image. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 100 includes: a rear side liquid crystal polarization plate 110; a rear side transparent substrate 120 stacked on the rear side liquid crystal polarization plate 110; a liquid crystal layer 130 stacked on the rear side transparent substrate 120; and a front side liquid crystal polarization plate 140 stacked on the liquid crystal layer 130; and a polarization control plate 160 including a first polarization plate 161 disposed at a position corresponding to a first pixel line, and a second polarization plate 162 disposed at a position corresponding to a second pixel line. The polarization control plate 160 is stacked on a position which is (i) above the front side liquid crystal polarization plate 140 and (ii) in contact with the front side liquid crystal polarization plate 140, or at a position where only a color filter 150 that selectively transmits a particular color of light is interposed between the front side liquid crystal polarization plate 140 and the polarization control plate 160. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
