<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface acoustic wave device having a package structure adaptable to both of an unbalanced input-unbalanced output type filter and an unbalanced input-balanced output type filter, and having reduced insertion loss. <P>SOLUTION: A surface acoustic wave device has a structure adaptable to both of an unbalanced input-unbalanced output type reception filter and an unbalanced input-balanced output type reception filter. A surface acoustic wave filter chip 30A constituting the unbalanced input-unbalanced output type reception filter has a pad 37f functioning as an unbalanced output terminal, and a pad 37e not connected to a surface acoustic wave filter part. A wiring board has, on a back surface thereof, a single electrode connected to the pad 37f and functioning as a reception terminal, and an electrode connected to the second pad 37e and functioning as a ground terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
