<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipole circuit breaker which can be miniaturized and can have high performance without deteriorating an arc-extinguishing ability of an arc-extinguishing device. <P>SOLUTION: An arc-extinguishing device 19 comprises a pair of side plates 26a, 26b arranged in parallel to each other, and plural grids 25 coupled between a pair of the side plates in a layered manner. Coupling protrusions 25c and 25d formed on both sides of the grids 25 project outward through a pair of the side plates. The coupling protrusions 25c and 25d projecting from the respective side plates of a pair of the arc-extinguishing devices 19, 19 separated by an interphase partition wall 28 and arranged adjacent to each other are provided offset in a direction, in which the grids extend. Then, housing recesses 28b, 28c for housing the coupling protrusions 25c and 25d are formed on both side faces of the interphase partition wall 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
