A ferrule (17) comprises a flange (43) protruding outward in the radial direction of the ferrule (17), and a shaft part (44) extending in the axial direction of the ferrule (17), in the direction opposite the direction from the flange (43) to a distal end of the ferrule (17). A male-side connector (11) comprises: a coil spring (39) for urging a ferrule (17A) forward in the fitting direction of the male connector (11), the coil spring being fitted around the shaft part (44); and a spring receiving part (41) for retaining the coil spring (39) from the rear in the fitting direction of the male connector (11); and the cross-sectional shape of the shaft part (44) is a regular polygon in which vertexes of the cross-section of the shaft part (44) come in contact with the internal periphery of the coil spring (39). A female-side connector (13) comprises a flange receiving part (49) for coming in contact with the flange (43) from the rear in the fitting direction of the female-side connector (13), and a portion of the flange receiving part (49) that faces the shaft part (44) is formed so as to imitate the external shape of the shaft part (44). |
