<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily search for a desired route for a jogging course and the like in which a departure place and a destination are the same location. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device 100 displays a traveling plan route (for example, a going around route or a recommended traveling route) of a user A on a map in a display screen of a display device (for example, an output unit 40). The device 100 is configured to: store road map information in a road map information storage unit 21; specify a reference point P according to an operation of the user A; specify an outline of a route to search for (for example, a course outline B) according to the operation by the user A; specify a search area (for example, inside of the course outline B including the course outline B) to search for the route according to the specified route outline; search for a going around route including the reference point P as start and end points within the search area based on the specified reference point P and the specified route outline; and display the obtained going around route on the map. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
