<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side airbag apparatus that can quickly deploy and expand a breast protection part to the front, in an airbag having an arm-push suppressing connecting part at the breast protection part. <P>SOLUTION: The breast protection part 39 of the airbag 30 is partitioned to a main protection part 75 which is supplied with an expanding gas G from a gas supply port 61 by being folded along a folding line 74 passing through the arm-push suppressing connecting part 50 at the upper part rather than at least the gas supply port 61 before being formed into a housing configuration, and a sub-protection part 76 which is supplied with the expanding gas G after passing through the main protection part 75. The arm-push suppressing connecting part 50 has a disk part 53 which is swollen rearward at its rear end, and is arranged in the breast protection part 39 so that the rear end 53R of the disk part 53 is positioned at the sub-protection part 76. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
