<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitting method of a buttonhole that is capable of knitting an upper peripheral edge part having a sufficient strength by a simple operation, and a knitted fabric with a buttonhole. <P>SOLUTION: At S11 and S12, a yarn is fed to knitting needles M and m at a base point to form a new stitch by split knitting, and the split knitted stitch is moved to adjacent knitting needles L and l. At S13, a yarn is fed to the knitting needle L that catches the split knitted stitch after being moved to form a new stitch, and the stitch is knocked over after being moved. Hereinafter, similar procedures are performed also on the stitch which is caught by the knitting needle l after being moved and are repeated while the base point of split knitting is successively moved to form an upper peripheral edge part 4 of a buttonhole 1. Since front and back needle beds FB and BB are alternately used, a knitting yarn has a margin due to a cross-over yarn between the front and back needle beds FB and BB and a tension of the knitting yarn is decreased, and the upper peripheral edge part 4 of the buttonhole is knitted while the cross-over yarn is connected, and thus the strength can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
