<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center device, an information distribution system and an information distribution method for updating static information according to the convenience of a user or a service provider. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This center device for distributing parking lot information is provided with: a storage means for storing parking lot information by area division obtained by dividing a Japanese map into prescribed sizes on the basis of meridian and parallel; and a control means for transmitting the dynamic information of parking lots in the periphery of a retrieval location included in the acquisition request of dynamic information from an in-vehicle unit to the in-vehicle unit. When receiving the acquisition request of the dynamic information from the in-vehicle unit, the control means determines a first area division to which the retrieval location included in the acquisition request is belonging, and sets the inside of a prescribed distance from the retrieval location in the parking lot retrieval object area, and acquires the dynamic information of the parking lot existing in the parking lot retrieval object area in the first regional division, and transmits it to the in-vehicle unit.
