<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate device capable of associating an attribute assumed from a face detected from a captured image with each user accurately even when a plurality of users are passing through a passage. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 2 creates a first table associating a position of a user in a passage detected by a user detection section 4 with the time of detection. An image processing section 8 processes captured images on the entrance side of the passage captured repeatedly by an imaging section 9 and, when detecting a captured user's face, assumes an attribute of the user and detects the position of the user. The control section 2 creates a second position table associating the attribute of the user assumed by the image processing section 8, the position of the user detected by the image processing section 8 and the capturing time of the captured image.
