Disclosed is a fuel cell comprising: a membrane electrode assembly (30) having an anode (32) assembled on one surface of an electrolyte membrane (31) and a cathode (33) assembled on the other surface of the electrolyte membrane; a frame (20) formed integrally with the membrane electrode assembly (30); and a pair of separators (40, 41) sandwiching the membrane electrode assembly (30) and the frame (20). At least a pair of sandwiching pieces (42, 43) that sandwiches the membrane electrode assembly (30) is formed in the pair of separators (40, 41). The positions of the sandwiching ends (42a, 43a) of the respective sandwiching pieces (42, 43) are shifted from one another in the stacking direction of the fuel cell. |
