CARD CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector of which the size in the width direction can be made smaller, and guide performance to a card of a card guide part even when the card is remarkably tilted to a card-receiving space and pulled out therefrom or inserted thereinto.

SOLUTION: A card connector 1 includes: a housing 10 in which the card C is received; contacts which are mounted on the housing 10 and come into contact with the card C; and a metallic shell 30 placed on the housing 10 and forming a card-receiving space 12 to receive the card C between a bottom wall 11 of the housing 10. A card guide part 32 to guide the card C when the card C is inserted and pulled out is bent and processed so as to extend from an upper wall 31 of the shell 30 obtusely to the upper wall 31 and toward the oblique inner side of the card-receiving space 12.
