An apparatus is described which comprises a transceiver configured to be connectable to a first network node by a first uplink connection and at least a second network node by a second uplink connection. Uplink control signailing is generated independently for each network node, wherein the generated uplink control signalling for the first network node is sent via the first uplink connection, and the generated uplink control signalling for the second network node is sent via the second uplink connection.
