PURPOSE: A lamp lighting apparatus forming sensitive light and a method for controlling illumination are provided to control color or brightness of light according to an operation of a user by at least including one of the color and brightness of the light. CONSTITUTION: A lamp part(110) includes one or more light emitting parts. A motion detection part(120) includes one or more motion sensors. The motion detection part transfers a sensing signal by sensing an operation of a user through the motion sensor. The motion detection part forms light corresponding to the sensing signal. A control part controls a radiation type of the lamp part in a plurality of modes by receiving the sensing signal from the motion detection part. The motion detection part transfers different sensing signals to the control part according to the mode of the control part. A mode selection part selects a plurality of modes. The mode selection part includes a brightness control mode or a color control mode.
