A method for treating acute severe generalized periodontitis, which comprises the removal of over-and subgingival dental plaques, periodontal pockets treatment with antiseptic chlorhexidine bigluconate, application of gel Metrogyl-denta, local anti-inflammatory therapy with sorbent solutions and herbal remedies, elimination of traumatic occlusion, curettage of periodontal pockets and prescription of general osteotropic therapy. Into composition of the gel Metrogyl-denta metronidazole is administered in amount of 25%. |
