<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece capable of facilitating mounting work of a display board to a ring member and reassembling work of the display board, and suppressing mounting failure of the display board due to the reassembling of the display board. <P>SOLUTION: A timepiece is equipped with a movement (a module), a panel, a ring member 21, and a dial (a display board) 31. The panel is fixed on the module. The ring member 21 is fixed to a peripheral portion of the movement. Upward engaging projecting portions 25 formed at a plural places of the ring member 21, have contact parts disposed close to an outer peripheral surface of the ring member 21. A dial 31 is arranged on the ring member 21 so as to cover the panel. The dial 31 has a plurality of projecting portion storage grooves 32 opened on the peripheral surface thereof and clipping portions 33. The clipping portions 33 divide the projecting portion storage grooves 32, and are tightly contacted with the contacting parts while elastically deformed to clip the engaging projecting portions 25 in a direction orthogonal to a diametrical direction of the ring member 21.
