<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that receives waste produced in perforating a machine room floor. <P>SOLUTION: The waste receiving device for perforating the elevator machine room floor includes: a beam; a mount; a support member; and a waste receiver. The beam is provided across a pair of guide rails. The mount is disposed on the beam. The support member is provided on the mount. The waste receiving container is supported by the support member.
