PURPOSE: An electronic device, a server and a method for providing traffic information are provided to generate traffic information reflecting real time traffic conditions by using contents generated by users driving on a road. CONSTITUTION: A social network engine(230) is connected to user devices. A navigation device(100) is connected to a network(300) using a first communication interface(11). A mobile phone(10a) is connected to the network using a second communication interface(12). A mobile computing device(10b) is connected to the network using a third communication interface(13). A laptop computer(10c) is connected to the network using a forth communication interface(14). The social network engine is connected to the network and a server(200) using a fifth communication interface(15). The server stores user information for each user device.
