<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of an image quality due to insufficient magnetic force while reducing that a pressure received by a developer in a thickness regulation may become excessive. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device (G) comprises: a magnetic member (1) including a first magnetic pole (N1) that is disposed corresponding to a developing area (Q3), and a second magnetic pole (N3) that is disposed in an upstream side in the rotating direction of a rotary member (2) with respect to a regulation area (3) in which the rotary member (2) and a layer thickness regulation member (Ge) face each other and attracts a developer in a developing container (V) to the surface of the rotary member (2) and disposed with no magnetic poles at positions corresponding to the regulation area (3); and the rotary member (2) including a plurality of magnetizing parts (6b) that are disposed along the rotating direction of a nonmagnetic rotary member body (6) at some intervals apart, magnetized by receiving the magnetic force of the second magnetic pole (N3) when passing the position of the second magnetic pole (N3) and retain the developer with residual magnetization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
