<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately acquire a pixel number count value as an index of toner consumption amount even if so-called fogging effect occurs in which toner is adhered on a non-image-forming region. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming system 1 comprises: an image density counting section 15 for acquiring a pixel number of a region in image data in which an image is formed by toner; a potential difference calculating section 23 for detecting a potential difference (VH-Bias) between a charge potential VH and a development bias potential Bias, the potential difference being information having a correlation relationship with an amount of the toner adhered on a non-image-forming region when the image is formed on a printing medium; an image density count value adding section 25 for correcting a count value of the pixel number counted by the image density counting section 15, based on the potential difference calculated by the potential difference calculating section 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
