<p>Provided is a drive device for a construction machine that enables a reduction in energy loss. This device is equipped with a motor (11) having a motor shaft (15), and a speed reduction unit (12) that reduces and transmits the rotational force of the motor to the part being driven. The speed reduction unit (12) has a casing (14) the interior of which is filled with lubricating oil, a planetary gear mechanism (22) housed therein, and a speed reduction output shaft (16), and the centers of this speed reduction output shaft (16) and the motor shaft (15) are arranged so as to match and be aligned in the axial direction. The planetary gear mechanism (22) has a sun gear (24), multiple planetary gear shafts (31) and planetary gears (28), a ring gear (30), and a disk-shaped spider (26) that rotates so as to permit the revolution of each planetary gear (28) while supporting these gears in a cantilevered state. The spider (26) has a spider main body (35), which includes multiple gear attachment surfaces (35a) to which the planetary gears (28) are attached, and multiple protrusions (34), which protrude from the spider main body (35) so as to intervene between the planetary gears (28).</p> |
