<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power amplification device that performs appropriate distortion compensation even when adjacent samples of an input signal correlate highly. <P>SOLUTION: A power amplifier 2 amplifies a signal. An error signal calculation section 3 calculates an error signal from an output of the power amplifier 2 and an input signal. A distortion compensation section 1 pre-distorts the input signal via a plurality of delayed signals having different delays given to the input signal and distortion compensation coefficients generated according to the error signal, and outputs the pre-distorted input signal to a signal amplification section. A tap interval control section 4 controls delay intervals between the delayed signals used in the pre-distortion by the distortion compensation section in accordance with signal correlation information calculated from the input signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
