PURPOSE: A tape cushion for protecting a panel of a liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to attach a strip-shaped cushion band to a protection film in a square frame shape, thereby using the cushion band to protect a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: Raw materials of right and left cushion bands(110,120) are punched so that first step portions(112,122) are formed on both ends of the right and left cushion bands. The right and left cushion bands have stripe shapes. Raw materials of upper and lower cushion bands(130,140) are punched so that second step portions(132,142) are formed on both ends of the upper and lower cushion bands. The upper and lower cushion bands have a strip shapes. The second step portions are engaged with the first step portions. |
