PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type tending machine 1 which can be housed compact without detaching an operating handle 17.

SOLUTION: In the walking type tending machine 1 including a rotary tiller 19, a handle frame 16 is formed by extending toward rear section upper direction from a transmission case 2, and the housing location P2of the operating handle 17 is arranged at a location adjacent to the rotary tiller 19 to make the operating handle 17 rotate toward lower direction from a working location used at the time of working, so that it can be fixed at a housing location P2.
